Background

A manufacturing facility needed to improve its stormwater management system through the installation of new storm valves. The upgrade was required to support better drainage control, reduce water-related risks, and protect facility operations during heavy rain events.

The project involved site assessment, excavation, valve installation, utility coordination, and restoration work within an active industrial environment.

Challenge

The work had to be completed while the manufacturing facility remained operational. This created challenges around access, safety, equipment movement, and coordination with daily production schedules.

The team also needed to account for existing underground utilities, drainage conditions, and site constraints to ensure the new system could perform reliably without creating disruption to the facility.

Solution

Westside planned the installation around facility operations, using controlled work zones and phased scheduling to minimize downtime. The team coordinated excavation, valve placement, and system tie-ins with careful attention to safety and site conditions.

The completed storm valve installation improved the facility’s drainage control and helped strengthen the site’s ability to manage weather-related water flow.

Testimonial
“Westside completed the storm valve installation with minimal disruption to our operations. Their team was organized, safe, and responsive throughout the project.”
