Chicago has approved an $800 million phased mixed-use development named Foundry Park, set to replace the previously planned $6 billion Lincoln Yards project. This new development will transform a 30-acre former steel site along the north branch of the Chicago River, offering a blend of residential, commercial, and public spaces.
Foundry Park, developed by JDL Corp in partnership with Kayne Anderson Real Estate, will feature two modern high-rise riverfront glass towers, ground-floor retail, a boutique hotel, and low to mid-rise buildings.
